Price increase imminent
We regret to inform you however due to increasing costs of running the kennels, we have no choice but to increase our daily rate for kenneling dogs. We are currently working out our new prices, to keep them manageable and fair for both us and our customers. Please keep an eye on our website for updates as we shall be posting shortly. This will apply to all existing bookings.
In order to maintain the high level of care we provide we have unfortunately found it necessary to adjust our prices to cover the large increases in our costs to run the kennels and staffing. We have estimated an increase of £20,000 on just wages alone.
Our new prices will become effective from the 1st April 2025. We will understand if anyone wishes to cancel a booking that is for after 1st of April 2025. Please let us know As soon as possible.
Food so far this year has risen thee times, along with increases to cleaning products, electricity, the cost of staff wages and all other overheads.
We would like to thank all our customers for their valued custom and support. We can assure you we increase the prices only so we can continue to care for your pets and walk your dogs in the loving way we always have.

Our price includes:
- 2 to 3 meals a day, using only the best quality food (as used by our own dogs). We carry the most popular brands of food for use.
- We walk dogs twice daily either singly, or with a maximum of one other to ensure that every dog gets plenty of human contact and attention.
- The administration of any necessary medication and all kennels and cat pens are heated, which is thermostatically controlled.
- Access to external covered runs at all times in summer and during the day in winter.
We provide food your pets stay with us from a selection of high quality, premium brands however, if you wish to bring your own food with you please note:
- It will need to be in a clearly labelled bag with the brand of food, your dogs name
- There needs to be enough for the whole duration of your pets stay and possibly a portion extra just incase!
- Bring an accurate measuring cup/jug with you or portion out your pets meals beforehand
- If your pet is fed on a basic supermarket brand such as - Wagg/ Go Cat/ Whiskas / supermarket own we are more than happy to provide a better quality of food for your pets stay but feel free to still bring this if you would prefer.
- Please also note that there will be no reductions in the total cost for your pets stay if you bring your own food - the charge remains the same.
You may pick up as early as you wish, however you will still be charged for the full booking. For all new customers we will be taking a 25% non refundable deposit to secure your first booking with us. No discounts are given, so please do not ask as refusal often offends.

It has came to our attention that some vets have now gone paperless with vaccinations. If this is the case with your veterinary practice please note that we need proof of vaccinations sent through to our email address info@danemerekennels.com at l;east 48 hours prior to arrival OR bring a printed copy with you.
